about me

back from bkk (: overall i felt that the trip wasn't as satisfying as i thought it would be ): bought around 3 dresses, 1 pair of beach shorts and a bag over 5 days only ): the weather there was terrible. hotter or almost as hot as singapore and worse still, the air was bad. when i reached the country i was so surprised why they had a grey sky :x really grey. i couldn't figure out any clouds at all. haha. and then every night at the hotel when i wiped my face black things would be come off. eeeew. the food was weird too, they have food courts there selling familiar food like fried rice and stuffs but not in any familiar style so i didn't have much appetite haha.

went to the siam aquarium, it was huge. tried fish spa and it was super itchy! don't think i wanna try it again coz it doesn't help me at all since whenever a fish come i would kick my feet by reflex. hahaha. there was supposed to be sea angels in the aquarium but i didn't see them!! what a pity )): i was still looking forward to it. sigh.

we also went for a cruise dinner.


quite special and the food was nice too (:

im surprised many locals speak english. so there wasn't that much of a language barrier. oh, and i also got a feeling that the country is really pro-japanese. japanese restaurants were everywhere, and in my hotel most signs were also written in japanese as though it was their 2nd language. haha.

apparently on our trip home, the tickets for the flight were oversold and cathay pacific was asking for volunteers among the ticket holders to go to HK to transit while also compensating them with 600HKD and a free hotel stay. hahaha. too bad i have school tmr so i can't go to HK. but the flight was packed so my family got arranged to travel on business class :D haha.. how lucky. my first business class flight.

but not so lucky for me, they didn't pack enough food for business class passengers ): i was the only one being served with crappy food. there was supposed to be 1 starter, 1 main course, 1 dessert, etc. we were provided with the menu.


yet, i wasn't served with any dessert. this was what my sister was served for starter and dessert.

with garlic bread (eaten), salmon salad, plain water and dessert.

mine?


STUNNED. one pathetic bowl of crappy salad. with plastic utensils instead of metal ones.

compare the butter and salt & pepper that i got with what i should have gotten.


how ridiculous ): i wasn't even served with plain water. sigh. i don't even feel like telling people that i sat on business class before.

thats all for my cny.. no new year mood at all actually. and i don't wanna go back to school tmr ))): having some serious blues now.
